Xbox Series X/S: Where to buy

With the holidays right around the corner, it’s is a great time to buy a brand new console. For those looking to get their hands on Microsoft’s newest consoles, the Xbox Series X and Series S, we’ve got you covered.

Since the release of next-generation consoles in November 2020, customers have found it extremely hard to find consoles for sale both in-store and online. Pre-orders sold out in minutes, and Microsoft couldn’t keep up with the demand after launch day. Scalpers and scammers took advantage of desperate buyers, often parents looking to snag a console for their children, by charging prices upwards of $800 on a machine that retailed at $499.99. Well after 2 full years consoles are finally back in stock!

You can find both the Xbox Series X and Series S for sale on Microsoft’s website for $499.99 and $299.99 respectively. Microsoft also offers their Xbox All Access for $34.99 per month, which includes the Xbox Series X/S console, a wireless controller, and 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. That’s a pretty sweet deal if you ask me!

You can also find these consoles at the big warehouse stores like BestBuy, Walmart, Costco, Amazon, and GameStop. I would personally stay away if you plan on buying online from Walmart though. Both consoles are currently only available for about $150 above retail, though you may have better luck in-store.

Happy hunting!
